Mine began as a little girl, standing in awe inside my mother's boutique — watching her arrange beautiful jewelry, the gold catching the light, the colorful stones sparkling like little worlds of their own, and the beautiful clothes, mostly dresses that were colorful vibrant and fun to look through and choose mine to keep. I didn't know it then, but that moment would shape everything.
